Great Valentine’s Day Presents for Women

 

Were you aware that men tend to spend more money for Valentine’s Day than women? When gifts are hurrily bought, often they aren’t planned out well. This may end up causing disappointment when your gift is received.

Flowers are enjoyed because they both look pretty and smell nice. Women and men alike love getting flowers. However, you cannot just go to the grocery store on your way home from work on Valentine’s Day and grab some flowers, expecting her to be floored. If you decide to make this risky move, buy a vase to put them in, a stuffed animal, and some chocolates too. Flowers from a florist online is easy and so fresh that they last better. One year, after I had given my girlfriend her Valentine’s present, I had a dozen red roses sent later in the day – what a surprise that was.

You probably want to know what kind of flowers are the best for Valentine’s Day. Of course, you can always choose red roses with long stems; they are definitely the traditional choice. Alternately, lavendar or peach colored roses can be wonderful too. But you are not limited to roses only. You can buy a bouquet of mixed flowers that include lilies. Whatever you decide, if you like it, she probably will too

 

Jewelry for Valentine’s day is a favorite gift as it lasts. Simple hoop earrings can be less expensive than most flowers. For a  slightly more romantic gift, a heart necklace is very much appreciated. She will enjoy your gift much longer than flowers.

There is always the gift of chocolates. She will be truly impressed if you give multiple gifts such as chocolates and flowers. Fruit is another nice Valentine’s present too, which you can continue to give her throughout the year by joining a “Monthly Fruit” club. These clubs can be found in many places, even orchards.

On the subject of food, you can always take her out for a romantic meal for Valentine’s Day; however, if you elect to do this, make reservations – restaurants can be very crowded on this holiday. You can either go to a special place you both enjoy or try a new restaurant. Make it a day trip by traveling out of town; that could be a lot of fun.

It is hard to go wrong when you opt to travel for Valentine's Day. Of course, since you must plan it thoroughly, it can be difficult to surprise her. Regardless, a vacation or cruise will make Valentine’s Day special not only for her, but for you as well.
